I really enjoyed this Ted Talk. I have people in my life that believe that "Failure" is not acceptable. Even in the short term as a stepping stone to a higher level of understanding and success. All assignments and tests, no matter how important must be earn an "A". These high and unrealistic standards are a necessary evil so that the student can get into college. This mentality starts in 3rd grade. It doesn't let up. Even at the risk of emotion damage to the child. This Ted Talk will be shared with those parents in the hope that they too will see and hear what I did.

I'm glad this resonated with you, Jerry! I hear and see something new each time I watch it.
